WindSong Cohousing Community
Perhaps this is you:
Your life is a rat race. You're either working or commuting. At home there is just more work to do. You long for a sense of community, a place where you can have fun, really get to know people, and put your feet up, without worrying about mowing the lawn. You'd love to carpool, and share joys and sorrows with others.
Or maybe this describes you:
Your life feels empty. You're no longer working. Or you're single. Or at home with small children. As the day stretches out immeasurably, you're lonely. You long for someone to talk to, dig a garden with, have tea, without having to get in your car and drive to meet somebody.
Welcome to WindSong. We may be what you're looking for. We're an ethnically diverse, multigenerational cohousing community in Langley, BC, just six km from the town of Fort Langley. WindSong was built in 1996 as the first architecturally designed cohousing community in Canada. About 90 of us, ages 0-80, live and play here on six acres of land, with a protected salmon stream and surrounding lands covering four acres of our property.
At this website, you will find detailed information about the WindSong CoHousing Community and cohousing in general.
