WindSong CoHousing Community is in the Walnut Grove area of Langley B.C., on the north side of Highway #1, about 50 km. east of the Vancouver city centre. Walnut Grove (pop. 22,000) is a quickly developing semi-rural area with a mixture of single family and town-home neighbourhoods. The nearby recreation facilities include a public library and an award-winning aquatic centre. Walnut Grove is well served with walking and cycling trails and we are five minutes by car from Derby Reach Regional Park on the Fraser River, offering fishing, picnicking and beautiful forest trails.

A broad range of commercial services are close at hand in Walnut Grove including medical doctors, dentists, chiropractors, daycare centres, supermarkets, health store, organic home delivery service, drugstore, post offices, dry cleaners, gas stations, mechanics, liquor store and restaurants. Malls with major department stores and big box retailers are 15 minutes away in downtown Langley. Public transit service to downtown Langley and the Surrey Sky Train Station stops in front of our door.

WindSong is well served by public schools including Dorothy Peacock Elementary and Walnut Grove Senior Secondary, both within walking distance and the renowned Langley Fine Arts School (grades 1 –12) is five minutes away by car. Trinity Western University, and Kwantlen University College. are about fifteen minutes away by car.
